Write for us – SaaS Guest Posting on DigitalTreed

Write for us SaaS

Glad you made it here. Seriously. We appreciate people who are genuinely interested in contributing to something meaningful — not just chasing backlinks or filling quotas. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.

At DigitalTreed, we’re not trying to act like we’ve cracked the code to perfect content. But we do care about putting out real, useful stuff that people in the SaaS world can actually use — or at least relate to.

We’re run by a team of tech-savvy folks, marketers, writers, and yeah, the occasional night owl who just likes digging into SaaS trends at 2 AM.

If you’ve got something to say — something worth sharing — we’d love to see it.

What Is SaaS? (No Fluff, Just the Basics)

Okay, let’s keep this simple. SaaS stands for Software as a Service. It’s a way of delivering software through the internet instead of installing it on your own machine.

You know all those tools you probably use already — Google Docs, Canva, Zoom, Notion? Yeah, all of those are SaaS. You just log in from your browser and start using them. No downloads, no heavy setup, no IT headaches (most of the time, anyway).

The company that built the software handles everything on their end — storage, security, updates, the whole deal. You just pay monthly (or annually), and that’s that.

How It Works

Here’s how I usually explain it to non-techy friends: imagine you’re renting an apartment instead of owning a house. You don’t worry about fixing the pipes or replacing the roof — that’s the landlord’s job. In SaaS, the provider is the landlord.

You just use the software.

Behind the scenes, they’re doing the maintenance. Pushing out updates, securing the data, fixing bugs — all that messy backend stuff.

For businesses, this is a lifesaver. You can scale faster, spend less on infrastructure, and avoid spending half your life dealing with clunky on-premise software. That’s why most startups and even big enterprises are going SaaS-first now — because it just makes more sense, financially and operationally.

Why Write for DigitalTreed?

Look — we get it. There are a hundred blogs out there asking for guest posts. Most of them just want free content to boost their SEO.

That’s not what we’re trying to do.

Yes, we care about search visibility. But more than that, we care about building a solid resource hub for SaaS professionals — founders, marketers, product managers, developers, investors — anyone navigating this crazy-fast space.

If you’ve been in the trenches, tested something that worked (or didn’t), or just have thoughts worth sharing — we want that. Real-world stories. Lessons learned. Even failures are welcome. Actually, especially failures — people relate to that more than you’d think.

Our Guest Post Guidelines (Please Read These)

We get a lot of submissions. Like… a lot. So we’ve had to be a bit strict with what we accept. Not because we want to be difficult — just to keep things valuable for our readers.

What We Expect:

  • Minimum 1000 words. Short posts rarely deliver real insight.
  • Original content only. We use Copyscape. No exceptions.
  • At least 2 royalty-free images. Screenshots are fine too — just make sure you have the right to use them.
  • Clear, readable writing. You don’t need to sound like a Harvard professor. Just be coherent and helpful.
  • Back up claims. If you say something is “the best,” show why. Use data, real examples, or your own experience.

Write like you’re explaining it to a smart friend who’s curious but not an expert. That usually works best.

What We Don’t Publish:

  • Rewritten content from other blogs
  • Articles packed with keywords but zero value
  • Product promos disguised as educational posts
  • Thin content that just lists tips everyone already knows

We’re picky, yeah — but fair. If your article brings something real to the table, we’ll see it.

A Quick Word on Quality

We’re not looking for perfection. Honestly, most of our best-performing posts aren’t “perfect.” But they feel human. They’re written by people who clearly care about the topic and aren’t afraid to share personal takeaways or admit where they messed up.

That’s the kind of energy we want here.

So if you’re thinking, “I’m not a professional writer, but I’ve got something to share,” — send it. We’d rather publish an honest, slightly messy story than a polished but soulless listicle.

Ready to Submit?

Cool. Send your topic idea or full draft to info@digitaltreed.com and our editorial team will get back to you — usually within a few business days.

Just make sure your subject line includes “SaaS Guest Post Submission” so it doesn’t get lost in the inbox mess.

If your post fits, we’ll work with you on edits and get it published. If not, we’ll let you know why — and maybe give you another shot.

We want to keep this process human, honest, and collaborative. Sound good?

Let’s build something that matters.
