Refunds and Cancellations
On this page
Effective date: 10 October 2026
This page explains when you can cancel an order with DigitalTreed and when you get your money back. It brings together the refund rules from our terms of service, which remain the full agreement. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the law.
1. Services, sponsored posts and placements
This covers marketing services and sponsored posts or other placements you buy directly from us, as described on Advertise with us. The price and scope are agreed before you pay.
- No refunds are given after successful publication or delivery.
- A refund may apply for non-delivery, a duplicate payment, or an order cancelled before work is published.
- Refund requests are reviewed case by case.
2. Monthly SEO and ads plans
You can cancel a monthly SEO or ads plan at any time before the next month starts, and you will not be charged for the next month. The month already under way is not refunded. Ad spend paid to Google, Meta or other platforms is paid to them, not to us, and follows their own rules.
3. Fixed packages (logo, landing page and similar)
Cancel before work starts and you get a full refund. There is no refund once the first draft is delivered.
4. The guest post marketplace
When you order a sponsored post from a publisher on our marketplace, your payment is held in escrow until the post is live and you confirm it. If something goes wrong, open a dispute from the order before it is completed. We review the order, its messages and its history, then either release the payment to the publisher or refund you in full or in part. Marketplace refunds are made only through this dispute process. An order that is not paid within 24 hours is cancelled.
5. Self-serve banner ads
Every ad is reviewed before it runs. If we reject your ad, we refund the payment. Once an ad has started running, the payment is not refundable, unless we stop it for a reason that is not your fault.
6. How to ask for a refund
Write to [email protected] or use our contact page, with your order or invoice details and the reason. For a marketplace order, open a dispute from the order instead.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. Your bank or payment provider may take a little longer to show it.
7. Changes to this page
We may update this page when our services or the law change. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
