Free Bulk Hyperlink Generator
Turn a list of URLs into HTML, BBCode or Markdown links with your own anchor text and rel attributes. Up to 200 at a time, right in your browser.

A shared anchor text below is used for all of these — or leave anchor text blank to use each URL as its own anchor text.
Use sponsored for paid/affiliate links and ugc for user-generated content — Google's recommended attributes since 2019. noopener noreferrer auto-checks when target is _blank, since leaving it off is a real security gap.

Why use it
Stop typing <a> tags by hand
Whether you are building links across a dozen sites or cleaning up internal links in a blog post, typing the same HTML over and over wastes time and invites typos. One missing quote or a forgotten closing tag and the whole link breaks.
Paste your URLs, add your anchor text, tick the settings you need, and the tool writes every tag for you, correctly escaped and ready to paste.

Features
What the hyperlink generator does
Everything you would otherwise type by hand for every single link, done for up to 200 links at a time.
Bulk or single links
Convert one URL or up to 200 per run. Blank lines are skipped and spaces are trimmed.
Three output formats
HTML <a> tags for websites, BBCode [url] for forums, and Markdown [text](url) for docs and READMEs.
Custom anchor text
Give every URL its own anchor text, use one shared text for all of them, or leave it empty to show the URL itself.
Every rel value
nofollow, sponsored, ugc, noopener, noreferrer and author, in any combination, plus target _blank or _self.
Live preview
In HTML mode you see the first 20 links rendered as clickable links, so you can test them before you publish.
Private by design
All of it runs in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent to our server or saved anywhere.
The anatomy of a link
Anchor tag attributes, explained
A typical link built by this tool looks like this: <a href="https://example.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">My Link</a>. Here is what each part does.
| Attribute | What it does | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
href | The address the link goes to. | Always. Use a full https:// URL for links to other sites. |
| Anchor text | The clickable words between the tags. | Always. Describe the page you link to. |
target="_blank" | Opens the link in a new browser tab instead of the current one. | Links to other sites you do not want readers to leave yours for. |
target="_self" | Opens the link in the same tab, the browser default. | Internal links and most normal links. |
rel="nofollow" | Asks search engines not to pass ranking credit through the link. | Links you do not want to vouch for. |
rel="sponsored" | Marks a paid, affiliate or advertising link. | Any link you were paid or given something for. Google's recommended tag since 2019. |
rel="ugc" | Marks user-generated content. | Links in blog comments, forum posts and reviews. |
rel="noopener noreferrer" | Stops the new tab from controlling your page, and hides where the visitor came from. | Every link with target="_blank". This tool ticks them for you. |
rel="author" | Says the linked page is about the author of the current page. | A byline link to an author profile. |
Choosing attributes
Which rel value to use
Google reads rel values as hints about the link. Pick the one that describes why the link exists.
sponsored
Paid placements, affiliate links and anything you got money or a free product for. Google asks for this since 2019; plain nofollow still works but is less precise.
ugc
Links that visitors added: comments, forum posts, reviews. It tells search engines you did not vouch for them.
nofollow
Any other link you do not want to pass ranking credit to, such as a source you cite but do not endorse.
noopener noreferrer
Add both whenever a link opens in a new tab. Without them the new page can control yours through window.opener. They have no SEO effect.
Tips
Why anchor text matters for SEO
Anchor text is not just what a reader sees. Search engines read it too. Link to a product page with the words "best running shoes" and you tell Google something about that page.
Repeat the exact same anchor text across a hundred links, though, and it starts to look manufactured. Mix branded terms, descriptive phrases, partial matches and the occasional generic "read more" to keep your links natural. A few habits make a real difference:
Describe the destination
"Read our guide to choosing running shoes" beats "click here". Readers know what they get, and so does Google.
Vary your wording
Hundreds of links with the exact same keyword look unnatural. Mix branded, descriptive and partial-match anchors.
Use full URLs off-site
Relative paths like /blog/ break when the link is pasted on another site or in an email. Include https:// for anything going elsewhere.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is this hyperlink generator free?
Yes. No sign-up and no daily limit. Each run converts up to 200 URLs; for more, run it again with the next batch.
Do you store my URLs or anchor text?
No. The links are built in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is sent to our server.
Can I get BBCode or Markdown instead of HTML?
Yes. Switch the output format and generate again. Note that BBCode and Markdown have no place for target or rel, so those settings only apply to HTML.
How do I give each link its own anchor text?
Choose "URL + Custom Anchor Text" and write one pair per line: the URL, a comma, then the text. Everything after the first comma is anchor text, so the text itself may contain commas.
What is the difference between nofollow, sponsored and ugc?
All three tell search engines not to pass ranking credit. sponsored is for paid and affiliate links, ugc for content your users wrote, and nofollow for everything else you do not want to endorse.
Can I use it for links across many sites at once?
Yes. Paste up to 200 URLs, one per line, and generate them all in a single pass. For a longer list, run it again with the next batch. Then paste each link where it belongs.
Can I download the links?
Yes. Next to the Copy button there is a Download .txt button that saves the whole batch as hyperlinks.txt.
Does it check that my URLs work?
No. It formats exactly what you paste. To check that pages load, run them through the HTTP Status Checker.
