How to use it
Find the questions in three steps
Type the topic
Two or three words, as a customer says them. Pick Google, YouTube, Bing or DuckDuckGo and the country. If you already copied Google's "People also ask" box or Search Console queries, paste them: they are merged and deduplicated.
Read the wheel and the groups, tick
Questions are grouped by question word (how, what, why, can, is…) and by intent (cost, pain and safety, time, process, eligibility, comparison). Tick the ones that belong on one page; hide brands and competitors.
Export as an outline or FAQ schema
The ticked questions come out as the brief's H2 list, an FAQ schema block, or a CSV. Write a heading for each question in the reader's words and answer it in the first two sentences.

Quick answer
What is a question finder?
A question finder lists the questions people search about a topic. This one asks the autocomplete of Google, YouTube, Bing and DuckDuckGo for your seed with 24 question openers, 10 prepositions and comparison words, in English, Hindi or Hinglish, then groups the answers by question word and intent and shows them as a wheel and a list. Tick the questions that belong on one page and export them as H2 headings, an FAQ schema block or a CSV. It does not read Google's "People also ask" box, which Google shows to browsers only: copy that box into the paste field and the tool merges it in.
Where it comes from
Autocomplete questions, and where the "People also ask" box is
Autocomplete is built from real searches and leans to popular, recent ones in your country. Asked with "how", "what is", "can i", "vs" and 30 other openers, it returns a few hundred real questions for a typical topic. Google's "People also ask" box is different data: Google's own clustering of related questions, served only inside the results page. Tools that show it buy it from search-result APIs and cap the free use at three to five a day. We do not scrape it; we take the box's questions a different way:
| Source | How to get it into the tool |
|---|---|
| Google's "People also ask" box | Search the topic in an incognito window, open four or five questions (more load under each), select the box, copy, paste into the tool's paste field. |
| Search Console | Performance › Queries, filter "how", "what", "why", "kaise", export, paste the question rows. Our Search Console guide shows where. |
| Your inbox and front desk | Type them in. Customers phrase things no tool shows. |
From questions to a page
One page per intent, a section per question
Google's scaled content abuse policy covers pages made for every variation of a question, and AI answers pull from pages that cover the sub-questions in depth. So: one strong page per intent, a heading per sub-question in the reader's words, the answer in the first two sentences, then the detail. The tool's intent groups show which questions belong together, and the outline export writes the heading list for the brief. Our GEO guide shows the pattern chapter by chapter.
FAQ schema marks the questions and answers up for machines. Since August 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results only for government and health sites, so do not expect a visual change; the markup still helps crawlers and AI engines read the page. Check it with our Schema Markup Validator, and make sure every answer is on the page in the same words.
Hindi and Hinglish
Questions in Hindi and Hinglish
A Devanagari seed is asked with कैसे, क्या, क्यों, कौन सा, कब, कहां, कितना; a Hinglish seed with kaise, kya, kyu, kitna, kahan, kaun sa, before and after the seed, because Hindi questions often put the question word last. Pick the language yourself when the seed alone does not show it ("kaju katli" is English and Hinglish at once).
| Seed | Questions found |
|---|---|
| काजू कतली | काजू कतली कैसे बनाएं · काजू कतली कैसे बनाएं घर पर · काजू कतली कैसे बनती है रेसिपी |
| kaju katli (Hinglish) | kaju katli kaise banti hai · kaju katli kaise banaen ghar per · kaise banate hain kaju katli |
| dental implant (YouTube) | how dental implants are done · how dental implants work · how dental implants are inserted |
Common mistakes
The question research mistakes the tool helps you avoid
Ten PAA questions as the whole list
The box shows a handful. Autocomplete asked 34 ways returns a few hundred. Use both: paste the box, read the rest.
A page for every question
Google's scaled content abuse policy covers it and readers hate it. One page per intent; the intent chips show what belongs together.
Brand and competitor questions
"Is clove dental good" is their page to win. Rows with a known brand or the names you enter are flagged and hidden by default.
Headings that do not match the question
The outline export keeps the reader's wording. Answer in the first two sentences, then the detail: the pattern AI answers quote.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is a question finder?
A tool that lists the questions people search about a topic, for headings, FAQs and content ideas. Ours takes them from four autocompletes asked with question words, prepositions and comparisons, and merges what you paste from Google or Search Console.
Where do the questions come from?
From the autocomplete of Google, YouTube, Bing and DuckDuckGo, asked from our server with the country and language you pick, plus the questions you paste. Nothing is generated.
Is there a free alternative to AnswerThePublic?
This one, without the three-a-day cap: the same kind of autocomplete data, a wheel and a list, and exports made for writing. Google's own "People also ask" box is the other free source.
How do I see Google's "People also ask" questions?
Search the topic, open each question and more load under it. Copy the box and paste it into the tool's paste field; it is merged with the autocomplete questions and deduplicated.
How do I use questions in my content?
One strong page per intent, a heading per sub-question in the reader's words, the answer in the first two sentences. The tool's outline export gives you the heading list; our GEO guide shows the pattern.
Should I make a page for every question?
No. Google's scaled content abuse policy covers that, and readers hate it. One page, a section per question; the intent groups show what belongs together.
What is FAQ schema and does it still show?
JSON-LD that marks questions and answers up. Since August 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results only for government and health sites; the markup still helps machines read the page. The tool writes it from your ticked questions.
How many questions should a page answer?
The five to ten that match its intent. The rest belong on other pages or in a FAQ section.
Can I find questions in Hindi?
Yes. Type the seed in Devanagari, or pick Hinglish for a Latin-script seed; the tool asks with Hindi question words before and after the seed. YouTube is where "kaise" questions live.
Do questions help with AI search?
AI answers pull from pages that rank for the questions around the main one (query fan-out). Covering the sub-questions on one strong page is the single clearest GEO tactic.
How is this different from the Keyword Suggestion Tool?
That tool lists every phrase around a seed, A to Z. This one asks only for questions and comparisons, with 24 openers in three languages, groups them by intent, and exports an outline and FAQ schema.
Is the question finder free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no daily cap. We fetch the questions when you ask and cache them for a short while.
