How to use it
The review link, the card and the message in three steps
Find the listing
In Google Maps on a computer, open your listing and copy the address bar, or copy the Place ID from Google's Place ID Finder, and paste it. The tool reads the identifier out of it and builds the link. A link that carries only a CID opens the listing, not the review box, and the tool says so and shows the way round it.
Copy the link, print the card
The review link opens the write-a-review box straight away; the listing link is for "see our reviews". The QR code goes on a counter card, a bill strip or an A4 poster with your name, your logo and a short message in English, Hindi or Hinglish: print-ready PDF or PNG at 300 dpi.
Send the message the same day
WhatsApp, SMS or email, in the language your customers read, with the link filled in. Send it to every customer, the same way. Then reply to every review.

Quick answer
What is a Google review link?
A Google review link opens the "write a review" box for one Business Profile, so a customer does not have to find the listing and the button. Google makes one for you from the profile (Read reviews, Get more reviews), on a computer only. This tool makes the same kind of link from the listing's Place ID, which you find by pasting a Maps link, and adds what you send with it: a QR code, a printable counter card and a WhatsApp message. Google's policy: ask every customer the same way, never offer anything for a review, never ask only the happy ones.
Where the link goes
Google's list, plus WhatsApp
| Place | What to use | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Receipts and bills | The bill strip with the QR code | Print it at the bottom of the bill or on a sticker |
| The counter or the waiting area | The counter card, or the A4 poster | A card is fine; pressing people to review while they are in the shop is not |
| Thank-you emails | The email message with the link | Send it the same day |
| WhatsApp after a visit | The WhatsApp message with the link | Most Indian clinics and shops already message customers there |
| The end of a chat | The review link | After the problem is solved, not before |
| Your website | The listing link for "see our reviews" | Tag the website button on the profile with the UTM Builder, not the review link |
The rules
What Google forbids
Offering money, a discount, a gift or a free service for a review, or for changing or removing one. Asking only the customers you think liked you (review gating). Pressing people to review while they are still in the shop. Telling them what to write or which staff member to name. Google restricts profiles that do these, and the tool flags words like "5-star" and "discount" if they land in your message.
FAQ
Questions people ask
How do I get my Google review link?
From the profile: Read reviews, then Get more reviews, on a computer. Or paste your Maps link or Place ID here and copy the same kind of link without logging in.
What is a Place ID and where do I find it?
Google's identifier for one listing, usually starting with ChIJ. Google's free Place ID Finder shows it; the address bar of Google Maps on a computer often carries it too; this tool reads it out of what you paste.
Why does my Maps link not give a review link?
Many Maps links carry only a CID, a different number that opens the listing but not the review box. Short links (maps.app.goo.gl) hide the identifier altogether. Open the listing in Maps on a computer and copy the long address, or paste the Place ID.
Does the review link work on a phone?
Yes. From WhatsApp it opens in the Maps app or the browser; the visitor signs in to Google first, then lands on the review box.
Why does the link ask people to sign in?
Every Google review needs a Google account. The link sends them to sign in, then straight to the box.
Can I shorten the link?
Google's own g.page link from the profile is short; the Place ID link is long, so send it as a WhatsApp message or a QR code rather than reading it out. We run no shortener.
Can I ask for reviews on WhatsApp?
Yes. Google's own help names WhatsApp. Send the same message to every customer, the same day.
Can I give a discount for a review?
No. Google calls it fake engagement and restricts profiles for it, including for removing bad reviews.
Can I ask only happy customers?
No. Selectively asking is review gating and is against the policy. The card invites complaints too, on purpose.
Can I put the QR code on the counter?
Yes. Google suggests a printed card in the shop. Do not press people to review while they are there.
Does the Place ID change?
It can, when a listing moves or is merged. Check the link once a year by opening it.
Can I make links for several branches?
Yes, one per listing; each branch has its own Place ID. Add a row per branch and print all the cards at once.
